Niagara on the Lake and the Wine area

Hi:
Wow ..We had a great time! 1 night 2 days felt like a week!
Jammed a lot in!
Went to the Festival Theatre Wednesday afternoon ,saw a wonderful production of "Born Yesterday",funny and still scarry relavent (business greed and crooked politicians)
Had lunch at The Charles Inn,we were all surprised how good it was.
For dinner went to The Stone Road Grill which has slipped (food and service).
Thursday got lucky with the weather so spent the day driving thru the wine area.
The route has really exploded with new vineyards and restaurants.
Vineyards we went to an tasted their wines were,Reif Estates, Stratus, Peller Estates, Jackson Triggs,in the Niagara on the Lake wine region.
At Cave Springs Winery in Jordan where we had lunch at "The Inn on the 20",worth a visit.
Hidden Bench and Organized Crime in Beamsville area small but good.
All worth seeing because of the different styles and sizes of the wine operations.
Others to see if we had time,Megalomanic and Tawse in Beamsville,Chateau Des Charmes in St Davids,Foreign Affairs around Vineland.
Easy drive back to Toronto!
